We provide activities and courses for people from every background, ethnicity, age group, and gender. We offer activities and courses like gardening, landscaping, cooking, spirituality, and yoga. We have expert professionals to give you one-to-one training sessions, or group sessions as per your interest and requirements. They pick up your best quality for you and help to sharpen your edge, skill, and knowledge on the same so you get better at your work and know a little bit more about yourself as an individual.

About The Australian Outback Show at Maroota Greens
Experience the authenticity of the bush with rollicking and merry-making activities at the Australian Outback Show! Revive, recharge, and explore the rugged terrain of the Australian wilderness, just an hour away from Sydney CBD, with shows like – Sheep Shearing Show, Whips & Boomerang Show, Billy Tea and Damper!
Meet And Greet On Arrival
The Australian outback experience starts even before guests get off the coach. As the coach arrives at the entrance to Maroota Greens, guests are welcomed by our Staff. Our Staff then escorts guests from the coach for a scrumptious piece of damper and Billy Tea.
Billy Tea And Damper
Billy tea and damper is a traditional outback refreshment, which our staff will serve after arrival. The Billy Tea is made over the campfire and the damper is a type of bush bread, baked over the hot embers, served with butter/margarine and golden syrup. During Billy tea and damper, our team will chat about what life was like as an Aussie outback worker on the farm.
Sheep Muster And Working Dog Show
The sheep muster is an exciting part of the program where our staff will direct their working dogs with patience and skill to bring the sheep back to the guests and the yards. Guests may take pictures with the sheep and sheepdogs on request.
The mustering of sheep to the yards by the sheepdogs is a fantastic show to watch. Under the instructions from our staff members, the dogs work enthusiastically around and over the sheep to move them through the yards from pen to pen. History of sheep in Australia and how to care for sheep is provided by our informative Maroota Greens team to broaden guests understanding of what they are witnessing.
Sheep Shearing Show
The art of shearing a sheep is displayed in the most unique shearing shed in Australia. Maroota Greens has a shearing place that can accommodate 200 people.
The Sheep Shearing Show includes mechanical shearing and a brief history of the shearing industry and the life of an Aussie shearer. Selected guests may have the opportunity to try their hand at shearing.
Guests will learn about the wool production process – from paddock to shearing shed to market.
Whips And Boomerang Show
Maroota Greens’ skillful stockmen exhibit the types of whip cracks used in the mustering process as well as a variety of humorous tricks and whip cracking techniques. This is spectacular to watch and includes audience participation. Following the whip cracking, guests learn about various aboriginal weapons including the bullroarer and the different boomerangs and then are treated to some very adept boomerang throwing techniques. Guests participating in the Premium Program will have the opportunity to try to crack a whip, throw a boomerang and use the bullroarer under the watchful eye of experts.
Bbq Lunch / Dinner
Whether it be for lunch or dinner, guests of Maroota Greens enjoy authentic Aussie tucker using only the freshest produce sourced locally from Australian growers and suppliers. A range of menu options is available to suit specific requirements. All Maroota Greens meals are hearty, country style, meals served in with stunning views of the property or with spectacular views across to the Blue Mountains.
Choose a two course, three course or buffet menus to enjoy in our external marquee. All meals are prepared from local produce. Optional extras such as bush bands, personal encounters with Australian animals, shopping village and more are available.
